I would advise everyone to avoid Shiels. I had purchased a gold chain from them which broke at the slightest movement of wearing it.nnWhen I approached the store, the manager Danielle initially stated that it would be replaced or repaired. I had a fondness for the chain, so I decided for it to be repaired. I was later informed that their head office stated that it was the customer's fault with no grounds, and they would not even entertain repairing it. It was even suggested that I melt down the chain, with no further recourse. I had then repeated calls from another store staff who was rude and offensive over the phone shouting at me to just pick up the chain.nnThis is appalling customer service, not to mention a complete disregard of consumer law, and poor manufacturing design.nnI will be taking this case to ACCC. Again, do not visit Shiels unless you wish to waste your money for subpar jewellery and far worse customer service.

As a avid jewellery collector and obsessed wearer of anything and everything gold, fine to chunky and large, shiels is an amazing store with absolutely incredible jewellery and even more incredible price points. Customer service is absolutely top notch. With every purchase your items are beautifully cleaned up and bagged or boxed beautifully and you will always be welcomed with open arms. Highly recommend
