About Harry Rose Jewellery

Harry Rose, a jeweler and the fifth generation of farmers, opened Harry Rose Jewellery in the heart of Canberra in 2009. Harry, a member of the Kybeyan Valley village, had a passion for jewellery and recognized that it was not his calling early in life, and he took a careers test at 10 that ultimately led him to follow his ambitions in the field of jewellery making.

After finishing school, where Harry excelled in metalwork, he traveled extensively, went on a lucrative work trip on the family's land and attempted numerous other professions, before enrolling in a four-year training program with a Canberra jeweller. I was able to determine for myself that this was the career for me from the very first day, and maybe even the first minute, of the program, says Harry.

After finishing his apprenticeship, Harry moved to the United Kingdom in pursuit of more experience and ended up working at David Marshall London, a worldwide company known for its extravagant jewellery. While Harry worked at David Marshall London, it was awarded several major awards for its excellent work.

Over the previous eight years, Harry Rose Jewellery has increasingly grown in popularity. Harry's patrons admire his knowledgeable and trustworthy advice about creating handcrafted jewellery pieces, along with his meticulous craftsmanship. His reputation as a respected jewellery retailer in Canberra and country NSW continues to grow.

Harry Rose has a particular skill in the design and creation of new, one-of-a-kind creations from older pieces. He is also an expert supplier of beautiful gems and stones. He constructs all his pieces on premises at his shop at 222 City Walk in the City.
